This year the European championship for purebred dogs was held in Budapest (Hungary), where the best dogs from different countries gathered to achieve the much valued title. What better news for the people of CARTES to hear that Ch Del Besaya Llenando Pantanos “OPRAH”, born and raised in our Villa owned by the Besaya Canine Center, was proclaimed CHAMPION OF EUROPE this past wednesday.

Canine Hotel
In our center we have a large residence for dogs in the countryside and 3 km. from Torrelavega.
Animal assisted therapy
There are numerous studies and research that demonstrate the therapeutic effects that animals produce on humans.
Dog Training
The aim of this work is to have an obedient and balanced dog, so that the owner can handle it with ease and confidence at the end of the process.
Reproduction center
In the beginning we were raising only German Shepherd for several years, a race in which we are specialists and since the beginning of the 90s we began to breed other medium and small breeds.
About us
Our Project basically consists in the development of a series of well planned and directed activities, establishing specific goals, using the dog as a co-therapist.
Some animals such as dogs, horses and dolphins are widely known as therapy animals, while other species, such as sea lions and farm animals, begin to be introduced in intervention projects in Animal Assisted Therapies (T.A.A.) in Spain.
